Do you use the Activator?
Dr. Tanner & Dr. Maxwell have a variety of techniques that they use. They do use the activator when needed but also do hands on manual adjustments. It all depends on the patient's condition and also what they patient likes.
Do you Treat Babies/Infants?
Yes! Dr. Tanner & Dr. Maxwell both treat infants.
Do You Treat on the First Visit?
Yes, as long as the doctor doesn't see a reason to not treat then we provide some kind of treatment on the first visit.
Do you take X-rays?
We do not have X-rays in office, if we believe they are needed then the Doctor will have the patient sent to a place or their doctor and have the X-rays taken.
Do you provide care for athletes in Ottawa, KS?
Yes! Dr. Tanner & Dr. Maxwell both played sports in high school and college and love treating athletes and have a wide knowledge of sports injuries.
How long are appointments at Christensen Chiropractic?
New Patient appointments are usually 30-45 mins and reoccurring appointments are 10-30 mins depending on what therapies are being done.
Do you accept insurance at your Ottawa chiropractic clinic?
Yes, We are in network with most major insurances like Blue Cross, Aetna, United Health Care, Medicare, CIGNA, and others.
